The Burlington, Vermont, ice cream maker is now serving up two new vegan-certified flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Caramel Cluster (priced at $4.48- $5.99 per pint).
What's in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is pretty self-explanatory – cookie dough and fudge flakes mixed within a vanilla-flavored non-dairy dessert made with almond milk. And Chocolate Caramel Cluster has peanuts, swirled salted caramel and fudge chunks in chocolate.
This brings to 11 the number of vegan-certified non-dairy desserts. The first four flavors, introduced about three years ago, were Chunky Monkey, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, P.B. & Cookies and Coffee Caramel Fudge.

"Ever since we introduced non-dairy in 2016, our fans have been clamoring for more," said Ben & Jerry's "flavor guru" Sarah Fidler in a press release announcing the new products. "The biggest challenge this time was creating a chocolate chip cookie dough flavor that stood up to the original. I think we nailed it."

As for additional flavors, one request was for PhishFood, a chocolate ice cream with marshmallow, caramel and fish-shaped chocolate bits, named after the rock band.
"Non-dairy #PhisFood please!!" they asked politely.
